Drip, Drop

I love the rain. Even as I type this, my hair and capris are soaking wet. (Thank heaven for thick sweatshirts.) Minnesota is the best cause you get some Washington in there, a snatch of Texas, and more than a bit of Alaska. ;)

Part of why I love the rain is the suspense factor. You know – “Is it gonna rain?” “Better hurry, looks like rain!” etc. And before the rain comes clouds. I think everybody’s mood is triggered somewhat by weather, and mine is too. Except I am thrilled with a cloudy sky instead of a blue one. Except in winter and sometimes fall – then I prefer sunny. But all other times, I LOVE clouds!! They make the day seem so much more adventuresome than weather that’s sunny and perfect.

Last week, coming home from a grad party, we thought we were going into a tornado. We drove underneath a huge cloud that was literally BLACK. Other wisps of white clouds blew across it at an alarmingly fast rate. It was a sight to see.
