The Sweet Day

not my image
I'll admit, the above is what Valentine's Day means to me.  :)
But in celebration for this holiday of love, I did do some other stuff....

- Went to a sleepover "retreat" at my friend Anita's house for studies on marriage, a BBC romance, and sweet snacks.  It was a great and refreshing time, and we all had fun packing heart boxes with candy and tie-dye socks for the little girls at church.  We signed them, "The Valentine's Ninjas."

- Wrote a sappy snippet with my favorite couple in Hearts Unbroken.  Phew.  I'm glad that's out of my system, and it will stay in my notebook where no one can find it.

- Ate lots of yummy food at our Italian potluck at church.  Mmmm (!) After that, we went on a so-called "stroll" in the almost 50 degree weather and had a bare-hand snowball fight.  It was fun.  Not really related to Valentine's Day, but because it was so fun, I thought I should mention it.

- Thanked God for the tremendously deep love He has for me.

Romans 8:38-39 ~ For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Those are some of my favorite Bible verses...He's a good, GOOD God.

Love the memories, too! Last week, I wrote the fall-in-love scene for Cadish. I laugh so hard every time I think about it....romance SO isn't my thing yet. :P
